Fine for Non-Compliance 

Travelers found not in compliance with government requirements may be denied entry and subject to discretionary fines for failing to adhere to quarantine and testing guidelines.
  1. As of March 12, 2021, under new Cambodian legal provisions, individuals who do not adhere to mandatory mask-wearing and social distancing may be subject to fines of USD 50 to USD 250. Repeat offenders may be subject to a fine of up to USD 1,250
  2. As of March 11, 2021, individuals may incur additional penalties, including up to USD 5,000 in fines and 5 years imprisonment, for failure to comply with COVID-19 rules or cooperate with authorities. Intentionally spreading COVID-19 may result in up to 20 years of imprisonment.
  3. As of February 25, 2021, foreign nationals who do not comply with COVID-19 rules or refuse to cooperate with authorities may be subject to deportation and prohibition from re-entry.
  4. As of February 18, 2021, travelers or operators of transport vehicles who evade authorized border checkpoints, fail to cooperate with health officials in implementing health measures, or do not comply with health procedures are subject to a fine of USD 1,250. Anyone who initiates, incites, instructs, persuades, or deliberately facilitates passengers or operators of a transport vehicle to evade inspection or evade implementation of quarantine measures will be subject to a fine of USD 2,500 to USD 12,500.
